We use a small number of cookies to make Get Waste Away work properly, understand how the site is used, and improve it.
1. Essential cookies
These are set by our authentication provider (Supabase) to keep you securely signed in and remember your session. The Service won't work properly without them, so they can't be switched off.
2. Fonts
We load our typeface from Google Fonts, which may involve a request to Google's servers when you visit. This is used purely to display fonts correctly, and isn't used for tracking.
3. Performance analytics (always on, no cookies)
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see aggregate traffic — which pages are visited and roughly how much traffic the site gets. It's cookieless and doesn't identify you individually, so it runs without asking for consent.
4. Optional analytics cookies
With your consent, we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people actually use the site — for example, where someone gets stuck partway through a process — so we can find and fix problems faster. This does use a cookie to recognise your browser across a visit. It's entirely optional: you're asked when you first visit, and you can change your mind at any time below.
5. What we don't use
We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't sell or share any data with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Managing cookies
You can change your analytics cookie choice at any time using the button above. You can also block or delete cookies entirely via your browser settings, but doing so will likely prevent you from staying signed in.
